The college offers a wide range of opportunities for students to benefit from their co-curricular experiences in addition to their classroom experiences.
Leadership opportunities include:
- Training programs that allow you to develop your leadership skills for "real life" experiences.
- Summer Leadership Camp – a day camp/institute for new students that is held in August
- An opportunity for new students to get a jump start on their first semester
- Learn about all the amazing leadership opportunities at MWCC
- Meet other new students
- Get to know important college resources and staff
- Develop new leadership skills
- Learn how to manage time and get the most out of your college experience
- Get important tips on academic success

- Leadership for Life Program – a series of six short presentations on topics that will help you feel more comfortable and be successful at Mount Wachusett Community College. The program runs from September to November. Series topics vary each semester.
- Fall Leadership Retreat – an opportunity to meet other student leaders and to learn and apply skills in areas such as team building, communication, problem solving, and diversity training.
- Summer Leadership Camp – a day camp/institute for new students that is held in August
- Volunteering on campus or in local agencies so you can get involved in your new community and play an active role in other people's lives.
- Involvement in the Student Government Association, an elected group of students who represent students' interests to the college's administration. The SGA assists in planning campus programming and in allocating funds to student clubs and organizations on campus. More
