Older Returning Students
If you are an individual who has been out of school for some time, you have probably gained a wealth of experience and knowledge through your prior daily activities and events. That experience and knowledge is highly valued in non-traditional, accelerated, and adult learner degree programs. Many four-year colleges and universities offer programs designed specifically for older returning students, and may even offer credit for knowledge that you gained during your adult lifetime. Generally, individuals who are 24 years of age or older, may qualify for acceptance into such a program.
Some of the four-year colleges that welcome qualifying Mount Wachusett Community College graduates into their non-traditional programs can be seen on our Adult Learners page.
Explore these colleges, and others, to see what program best fits your specific educational needs. Go to Scholarship Information & Other Resources for information on hundreds of colleges and universities.
