College-Level Examination Program (Clep) can make it easier for students of all ages to complete their degrees more quickly.

Preparing to Take a Clep Exam
Be sure to visit the Clep PREP CENTER on the College Board Web site (www.collegeboard.com/clep) for useful tips on assessing your readiness and preparing for any of Clep’s exams. Also in the Clep Prep Center are Individual Subject Study Guides which can be downloaded for a small fee each, and Clep Sampler which can be downloaded free of charge.
Clep Registration Procedure
- Call or visit Testing Services and pay non-refundable registration fee ($25.00) prior to scheduling an appointment to take a Clep test.*
- On the day of testing bring a photo ID and Clep testing fee ($70.00 as of July 1, 2008). **
- Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled testing time.
- Each test is 90 minutes long.
- Most test scores can be viewed immediately following testing but are not valid until official score report from Clep is received. English Composition with Essay is only scored once a month and results cannot be viewed immediately following testing.

- MWCC is an official Clep Test Center.
- MWCC offers Clep at least twice a month.

Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
Prior to registration, contact the Clep Test Center about testing accommodations. Only students with documented hearing, learning, physical, or visual disabilities are eligible to receive testing accommodations. Students who do not receive routine accommodations from their schools either for instruction or assessment are not eligible.
