Verification Requirements
Applicants may be asked to provide a copy of the federal income tax returns that were used in the preparation of the original application. In addition, various data elements will need to be verified through the MWCC financial aid application. They will include the number of family members in college; untaxed income verification; non-citizen eligibility verification; financial aid transcripts from all previous colleges; and non-tax filing status statements, if appropriate. Other documentation may be requested.
Filing times
The priority filing date for September enrollment is the previous April 1, and the priority filing date for students entering in the spring semester is the previous November 1. The Massachusetts and New Hampshire State Scholarship programs have an absolute filing date of May 1 prior to the start of the academic year.
