SEARCHING FOR ARTICLES
Searching online indexes is the best method of finding the most recent articles written on a topic. Indexes will lead you to article citations, which include the title and author of the article, the journal name, the volume number, and page number(s) of the article. Many of the online indexes also link directly to the full-text of the article. The following online databases, available from the Databases link at http://library.mwcc.edu, are excellent places to search for recent and past consumer health related articles. To access databases remotely, be sure to have your library registration number available. Ask the staff at the Circulation Desk (978-630-9125) if you are unsure of your number.
